BOVIMUN LSD
COMPOSITION
One dose of the vaccine (1 ml) contains:
- lumpy skin disease virus of cattle, strain Neethling > 103,8 TCD50; excipients; solvent.
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Lyophilizate and solvent.
IMMUNOBIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The vaccine stimulates the formation of immunity 10 days after a single vaccination, active immunity occurs on the 21st day after immunization.
ANIMALS SPECIES
Cattle.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Prevention of nodular dermatitis in cattle. Does not have therapeutic properties.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS DURING PREGNANCY, LACTATION
Used without restrictions.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Just before use, draw up 5 ml of the solvent from the vial with the solvent using a sterile syringe and transfer it to the vial with the lyophilized vaccine. Mix thoroughly until the lyophilizate is completely dissolved, then transfer the solution with a syringe into the vial with a solvent. Repeat the operation to complete the transfer of the lyophilized vaccine.
The vaccine is administered to animals subcutaneously at a dose of 1.0 ml, regardless of age.
Calves from vaccinated cows are vaccinated at the age of 4-6 months; calves from unvaccinated cows are vaccinated at any age.
Revaccination is carried out annually.
SIDE EFFECTS
In a small number of animals, swelling may occur at the injection site. This swelling disappears over time without side effects.
OVERDOSE (SYMPTOMS, EMERGENCY MEASURES)
The use of ten doses does not adversely affect animals. In some cases, swelling may occur at the injection site, which disappears without treatment.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Do not use disinfectants during vaccination.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
7 days. The meat of vaccinated animals should not be consumed within 7 days. Milk from vaccinated cows is used without restrictions.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER DRUGS
Do not mix with other drugs and prophylactics.
PACKAGING AND PRESENTATION
Glass vials containing 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 doses of vaccine, closed with rubber stoppers and rolled with aluminum caps.
Solvent in glass or plastic vials containing 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 ml, closed with rubber stoppers and rolled with aluminum caps.
SHELF LIFE
18 months. Use the vaccine immediately after reconstitution.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION CONDITIONS
Keep vaccine components out of the reach of children, in a dark place at 2°C to 8°C. It is allowed to store the lyophilizate in a frozen state at a temperature of minus 20°C. Do not freeze the solvent!
Transported by all the transport types in compliance with the specified temperature regimes. Short-term transportation of lyophilizate for up to 48 hours at temperatures up to +14°С is allowed.
