live vaccine against Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis
Composition
One dose of vaccine contains live virus, obtained on SPF chicken embryos:
Avian Reovirus, strain S-1133 ≥ 103,5 TCID50.
Solvent.
Pharmaceutical form
Freeze-dried tablet and solvent.
Immunological properties
Vaccine virus in 7-10 days induces specific immunity in poultry, which prevents vaccinated chicks against Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis for up to 3 months.
Target species
Poultry.
Indications
Preventive immunization against Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis.
Interaction with other preparations
Do not mix with other medicinal and preventive preparations.
Do not administer with the vaccine against Infectious Bursal Disease at the same day.
Special precautions (during laying period)
Do not vaccinate birds 2 weeks before start of laying period.
Route of administration and dosage
Before use, shake the vials thoroughly and warm the vaccine to room temperature (20–25°C).
For hens, administer 0.5 mL of the vaccine subcutaneously in the lower third of the neck; for chicks, administer 0.2 mL starting at 5 days of age.
Revaccination is performed after 6–7 weeks.
Withdrawal period
0 days.
Self life
18 months. Vaccine should be used within 2 hours after dissolving.
Storage conditions
Store vaccine in dry, dark places, out of reach of children, at +2 to +8°С. Do not freeze! When transporting the vaccine, temperature fluctuations in the range from 0 to 20°C are allowed for 5 days, which does not cause a negative impact on the quality of the drug.
