The Ukrainian animal health company BIOTESTLAB took part in the International Congress UVMF&VNAU 2026, held in Vinnytsia, bringing together Ukrainian veterinarians, teachers, students, and leading international experts in veterinary medicine for small domestic animals. The event was organised by the Ukrainian Veterinary Medicine Fund (UVMF) in cooperation with Vinnytsia National Agrarian University.
BIOTESTLAB became an Educational Partner of the congress, confirming its strategic focus on supporting the professional development of the veterinary community, exchanging experience and implementing modern approaches in clinical practice.
Educational partnership as an investment in the development of veterinary medicine
The International Congress UVMF&VNAU 2026 has become an important platform for training, professional networking and discussion of topical issues in veterinary medicine for companion animals. The event program presented areas of direct importance to a doctor's daily practice: neurology, oncology, surgery, dermatology, endocrinology, and emergency and intensive care. Special attention was paid to topics that are rarely raised at other professional events, in particular exotic animal therapy, shelter medicine, animal welfare, and the well-being and psychology of veterinarians.
The uniqueness of the congress lies in its international format: the speakers were mainly foreign specialists. This year, 22 guests from 8 countries took part in the program, 14 of whom attended in person in Vinnytsia. The participation of international experts made it possible to discuss modern approaches to diagnostics, treatment, prevention and support of the welfare of pets in the context of global trends in veterinary medicine.
By supporting such initiatives, BIOTESTLAB helps create a professional environment in which doctors have access to up-to-date knowledge, international expertise, and practical tools to improve the quality of veterinary care.
BIOTESTLAB solutions for companion animals
Within the framework of the congress, BIOTESTLAB presented its own booth, where participants could familiarise themselves with drugs for dogs and cats, receive expert advice, and discuss the practical application of veterinary solutions in clinical practice.
A special emphasis was placed on new products that meet the current needs of veterinary practice:
- MAROX — antiemetic and antiemetic based on maropitant 1% (injection solution);
- TOBRANORM — antibacterial eye drops based on tobramycin 0.3%;
- CRYSTAL EYES — drops for daily hygiene and eye health maintenance.
Also, during the congress, a professional report was presented on the use of STIMULUS in drug-support schemes for postoperative patients. The presentation considered the role of comprehensive support for the animal's body during the recovery period after surgical interventions, particularly in conditions of increased metabolic load, stress, and the need to restore physiological functions and stabilise the patient's general condition.
In addition, professional materials were presented on the use of MAROX in clinical practice for small domestic animals, particularly to prevent vomiting in neurological patients.
This approach emphasises the practical value of the BIOTESTLAB portfolio for clinical veterinary medicine: the company offers not only individual drugs, but also solutions that can be integrated into comprehensive patient management schemes.
Development of the companion animals portfolio
Participation in the International Congress UVMF&VNAU 2026 emphasised BIOTESLAB's strategic focus on developing the pet sector. The company consistently invests in expanding its portfolio of veterinary drugs for dogs and cats, with a focus on the needs of veterinarians, clinics, and pet owners.
