Ukrainian manufacturer of veterinary drugs BIOTESTLAB served as an official partner of the forum "Modern Approaches in Endocrinology and Dermatology." The event, organised by the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine (USVM), took place on August 16 in Kyiv, attracting more than 60 participants from various regions of the country.

The forum became a platform for discussing current issues in endocrinology, dermatology, and gastroenterology of domestic animals, and sharing experiences in implementing practical solutions to improve the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases in dogs and cats, as well as related dermatoses.

The event brought together over 60 veterinarians from various cities across Ukraine, who attended seven detailed presentations from leading speakers. Topics included hyperadrenocorticism, hypothyroidism, and the effects of hormonal disorders on animals' skin. A separate segment focused on ultrasound diagnostics of endocrine glands in both routine and complex clinical cases. The forum concluded with a round table and a Q&A session with the speakers.

During the event, the company BIOTESTLAB presented a line of veterinary drugs for pets. The focus is on the prolactin inhibitor Antilact, the anti-inflammatory and wound-healing agent Floxy-Spray Max (now available in new packaging: 30 ml and 50 ml), and new products that will soon be available on the Ukrainian market:
• antiemetic Marox (maropitant 1%, injection solution);
• eye hygiene product Diamond Eyes (taurine + chlorhexidine + succinic acid, drops).

Conference participants had the opportunity to communicate with consultants from the company BIOTESTLAB and a leading specialist of WSW clinic (Kyiv), Victoria Balan, who gave a presentation on pseudo-pregnancy in dogs and shared her experience of using the drug Antilact to eliminate clinical signs of the disease.

Participation in the forum continues the collaboration with the Ukrainian School of Veterinary Medicine (USVM), an educational institution established in 2023 with support from USAVA to assist students at specialised universities and promote the postgraduate education of veterinarians. It should be noted that in November 2024, BIOTESTLAB and the Ciprocolin brand became partners of the USVM All-Ukrainian Forum on "Infectious Diseases of Dogs and Cats."
