The leader in the veterinary drugs market, BIOTESTLAB, served as an official partner of the scientific and practical conference "Diseases of Cats". Over 100 veterinarians participated in the event organized by the educational platform Vetskills in Kyiv from April 10 to 12 this year.
The conference program was divided into two sections: one focused on non-contagious cat diseases and the other on infectious cat diseases. Additionally, three master classes were offered: dermatology, surgery, and surgical oncology. The speakers included practicing veterinarians from leading veterinary centers and clinics in Ukraine. Most presentations were based on the latest scientific research, interesting case analyses, and the integration of new systems and medications into practice.
BIOTESTLAB presented Relax, a non-inhalation anesthetic, a colloidal solution of 1% propofol. The primary focus is on the drug's use for short-term anesthesia in diagnostic procedures. Andrіі Kravchenko, a specialist in infectious and invasive diseases and the chief physician at the LicoVet veterinary center in Uzhgorod, demonstrated how bronchoalveolar lavage can be used in diagnosing parasitic diseases of the respiratory organs in cats.
Today, BIOTESTLAB’s product portfolio includes 130 veterinary immunobiological and chemical-pharmaceutical drugs. Among them are nearly 20 products for pets. Another new product is Ciprox, eye/ear drops containing ciprofloxacin 0.5%.
Participation in the conference continues our collaboration with Vetskills, a Ukrainian educational space established in 2023 for the postgraduate education of small animal veterinarians. In 2024, BIOTESTLAB partnered with the Vetskills conference on "Neurology and Neurosurgery of Pets".
