Inactivated vaccine against Teschen Disease
Composition
One dose of vaccine contains an inactivated virus of
Teschen Disease, strain Zacarpatsky ≥ 8,2 lg TCD50 prior to inactivation.
Pharmaceutical form
Emulsion.
Immunological properties
Immunity in vaccinated animals is formed within 14 days after vaccination and lasts up to 11 months.
Target species
Swine.
Indication
Preventive immunization of clinically healthy pigs against Teschen Disease.
Interaction with other preparations
If necessary dehelmintization should be carried out 2 weeks before vaccination or 2 weeks after it.
Special precautions (during gestation)
Gestating sows may be vaccinated not later than one week before farrowing.
Route of administration and dosage
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the neck or inner thigh area to piglets up to 60 days of age at a dose of 1.0 mL, and to older pigs at a dose of 2.0 mL.
Piglets vaccinated before 2 months of age receive a second vaccination at 3 months of age at a dose of 2.0 mL.
All pigs are revaccinated once at a dose of 2.0 mL 10 months after the initial vaccination.
Withdrawal period
0 days.
Self life
24 months. Once opened the vaccine should be used within 3 hours.
Storage conditions
Store in dry, dark places, out of the reach of children, at +2 to +8° С. Do not freeze!
