Inactivated vaccine against Parvovirus and Swine Erysipelas
Composition
One dose of vaccine contains prior to inactivation:
Pathogen of Swine Erysipelas, strain WR2В ≥ 1 х 109 CFU.
Swine Parvovirus strain I-82 ≥ 9 lоg2 HAU.
Pharmaceutical form
Suspension.
Immunological properties
Vaccine induces an immune response in vaccinated animals in 2 weeks after immunization which persists throughout pregnancy and suckling period, up to booster vaccination before the next insemination.
Target species
Pigs.
Indication
Preventive immunization of pigs against Parvovirus infection and Swine Erysipelas.
Interaction with other preparations
To prevent Swine Erysipelas in gilts starting from 2 months of age it is recommended to use Suimun Ery, a live vaccine against Swine Erysipelas.
Special precautions (during gestation)
Not administered.
Route of administration and dosage
The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in a dose of 2.0 mL in the area behind the ear.
Sows in the main herd are vaccinated once, 2 weeks before insemination.
Replacement gilts are vaccinated twice, 6–5 and 2–1 weeks before their first insemination.
Breeding boars are vaccinated for the first time at 6–7 months of age, with a booster every 6 months.
Withdrawal period
0 days.
Self life
24 months. Once vial opened the vaccine should be used within 3 hours.
Storage conditions
Store in dry, dark places, out of the reach of children, at +2 to +8° С. Do not freeze!
