Composition

One dose of vaccine contains attenuated virus of Classical Swine Fever, strain LK-М ≥ 3.0 lg TCID₅₀.

Pharmaceutical form 

Lyophilisate and solvent.

Immunological properties

Post-vaccination protection develops on 4-6th day after immunization and lasts for at least one year.

Swine.

Indications

Preventive immunization of clinically healthy pigs against Classical Swine Fever (CSF).

Interaction with other preparations

Vaccination with other vaccines is not done earlier than 14 days after administration of the vaccine against CSF.

Special precautions (during gestation)

At threat of the disease, sows are vaccinated once regardless of gestation term.

Route of administration and dosage 

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the neck area “behind the ear” or on the inner thigh. Immediately before use, the vaccine is diluted with “Live Vaccine Diluent” or saline solution at a rate of 2.0 mL per dose.

On farms free of classical swine fever, adult pigs and replacement young stock from three months of age are vaccinated once a year; sows are vaccinated once a year 20–15 days before insemination.

On farms where there is a risk of infection, piglets are vaccinated twice: the first time at 30–45 days of age; a second time after 3–4 weeks; and subsequently once a year..

Withdrawal period

0 days.

Self life

24 months. When dissolved the vaccine should be used within 4 hours of reconstitution.

Store in dry, dark places, out of the reach of children, at +2 to +8° С.
