At the end of February, the BIOTESTLAB research and production complex hosted chief veterinarians and technologists from the Avangard Agroholding poultry farms (AVANGARDCO IPL). The visit included two main components: an introductory tour and a scientific seminar focused on diagnosing poultry diseases and implementing biosafety measures at poultry farms.
Serhii Semenov, CEO of BIOTESTLAB TRADING HOUSE, welcomed the guests and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity to take an inside look at the modern, high-tech production of veterinary drugs — the gathering aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and coordinate areas of cooperation for 2025.
During the tour led by BIOTESTLAB CEO Oleg Hrodzevych and COO Natalia Shevchenko, guests were shown the latest technical facilities designed to comply with EU GMP requirements. The tour included an overview of the entire production process, from receiving raw materials to packaging and storing finished products, as well as insights into the laboratory studies conducted on-site. It was emphasized that BIOTESTLAB operates a modern, large-scale complex in Ukraine that meets European GMP standards for the development and production of veterinary immunobiological and chemical-pharmaceutical drugs. The company adheres to stringent quality control standards and continuously invests in research and development, enabling the creation of new drugs and the adoption of modern technologies.
During the visit, guests participated in a scientific and practical seminar led by BIOTESTLAB experts Valeria Kylimenko and Viktor Chichikalo. The key topics covered included clinical approaches for the comprehensive diagnosis of chicken diseases and biosafety. Specific areas of focus were the criteria for selecting detergents and disinfectants, as well as the evaluation of the quality of poultry house treatment.

In conclusion, the participants of the meeting shared their opinions and discussed current projects as well as plans for future cooperation. The partnership history between BIOTESTLAB and Avangrad spans over 10 years. Vaccines from the POLIMUN line are used to prevent Avian infectious bronchitis, Newcastle disease, Salmonellosis, Egg drop syndrome, and other diseases in chickens. Additionally, the vitamin and mineral complexes Aminovitol and Hepacarnitol, along with the Virosan line of disinfectants and other medications, have been highly rated by specialists of the agroholding's poultry farms. "We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our partners for their visit and the years of productive cooperation," emphasized Sergii Semenov.
For their part, the guests thanked their hosts for the invitation and hospitality. They were particularly impressed by the scale and technical capabilities of the enterprise, the organization of the production processes, and the emphasis on product quality. This experience enhanced their confidence in BIOTESTLAB as a manufacturer of veterinary drugs that meet international standards.
