BIOTESTLAB, a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of veterinary medicines, has confirmed the effectiveness of its vaccines at an international level. Through collaboration with state laboratories abroad, the company has once again demonstrated that its products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Results of BIOTESTLAB Vaccine Studies
The following vaccines were tested:
- BOVIMUN 4 – a combined vaccine for the prevention of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, viral diarrhea, parainfluenza-3, and bovine respiratory syncytial virus infections in cattle.
- POLIMUN IBH – a live vaccine to protect poultry against infectious bursal disease (Gumboro disease).
- POLIMUN Multi – a live vaccine for the prevention of infectious bronchitis in poultry.
These vaccines were studied at the Laboratory of Comprehensive Research of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute (AQTİ) in Baku. The primary objective of the research was to assess the immunogenicity of the vaccines by determining the levels of specific antibodies in the blood serum of target animals (chickens and calves).
Stages of the Study
The study was conducted as part of the veterinary medicine registration process in the Republic of Kazakhstan. All stages of the trials, including:
- vaccination of target animals,
- collection of blood serum samples after vaccination,
- determination of antibody levels through ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), neutralization tests, and hemagglutination inhibition tests,
were carried out under the supervision of representatives from the National Reference Center for Veterinary Medicine (NRCV) of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
