On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine. Today, active confrontation continues in the eastern and southern regions of the country, including such large cities as Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhia. Recently, fighting took place near the capital, Kyiv, in the northern and northeastern regions of the country. Today, these regions have been completely liberated from Russian troops.

Since the beginning of the war, the status of BIOTESLAB's production and storage facilities in Kyiv has not changed - they have not received any damage as a result of fights in the suburbs of Kyiv, artillery, and rocket attacks on infrastructure facilities.

BIOTESTLAB Ltd. production works with partial restrictions. The company's management takes measures to ensure the work the extent that it meets the needs of customers, is safe for employees and is subject to logistical constraints in Ukraine. Work on drug development, clinical trials, and registration continues. Were received registration certificates for new products: vaccine Polimun IB VAR 2 and Ketafur, a complex antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory drug.

A critical stock of vaccines and other products has been moved to a new location in the Ternopil region. As of 05.05.2022, the distance from the new warehouse to the nearest combat zone is more than 800 kilometers.

Despite the closure of airports and the Russian fleet's blockade of Ukrainian ports in the Black and Azov Seas, BIOTESTLAB Ltd. continues to export. Thanks to new logistics chains, products are supplied to Egypt, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, and other countries. Registration of the vaccine against classical swine fever of the Suimun line in Azerbaijan has been completed.
