We invite veterinary medicine specialists to participate in the key event of the year in the field of veterinary ophthalmology — the 2nd All-Ukrainian Veterinary Ophthalmology Symposium. The event is dedicated to topical issues in the diagnostics and treatment of pathologies of the auxiliary apparatus of the eye in companion animals.
Date of holding: February 21–22, 2026.
Location: Ukraine, Kyiv, Favour Park Hotel.
Lecture day — February 21
The symposium program combines more than 10 hours of lecture material from 8 leading Ukrainian and foreign experts. Special guest — Marta Leyva, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain).
Routine and complex clinical cases are planned for consideration, including:
- diagnostics and therapy of blepharoconjunctivitis and pathologies of the nasolacrimal system (epiphora);
- management of retrobulbar and parabulbar pathologies;
- reconstructive surgery: skin plastic surgery for significant defects and surgical interventions on the eyelids.
Practical day — February 22
The symposium will include specialised master classes based on specialised clinics:
- “Simple manipulations that save the eyes” (Viktoria Marcinchyk, VetNova Clinic)
- “Eyelid neoplasms in dogs and cats. Methods of defect correction” (Volodymyr Nesterchuk, TVO Clinic)
- “Fundamentals of microsurgery. Corneal Plastic Surgery in Dogs and Cats” (Bogdan Muzychuk and Kyrylo Chaika, Genesis Veterinary Hospital)
Participation of BIOTESTLAB
The company’s scientific experts will present the results of clinical trials and the therapeutic profile of the new antibacterial drug TOBRANORM (tobramycin 0.3%). There will also be a presentation of a new product in the ophthalmic care segment — a hygienic product containing chlorhexidine, taurine, glycerin, and succinic acid.
