100 ml of preparation contains following active substance: Tylosin tartrate – 20.0 g,
Tylosin tartrate is a macrolide antibiotic, active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Diplococcus spp., Corynebac- terium spp., Clostridium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Neisserias spp., Bacteroides no- dosus, Moraxella bovis, Pasteurella spp., Spirochаetes. Mycoplasmas are particularly susceptible to Tylosin (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, My- coplasma synoviae, Mycoplasma meleagridis, Mycoplasma agalactiae, Mycoplasma bovi- genitalium), as well as Chlamydia and Rickettsia.
The mechanism of the medicinal product action is the blocking of protein synthesis in the bacterial cell by forming a complex with 50S ribosomal subunits.
Cattle: treatment of animals against necrotizing pododermatitis, metritis, mastiti arthriti and in case of the respiratory and digestive tract diseases caused by microorganisms susceptible to Tylosin.
Swine: treatment of animals against dysentery, leptospirosis, MMA syndrome, atrophic rhinitis, mycoplasma and staphylococcal arthritis and in case of the respiratory and digesti e tract diseases caused by microorganisms susceptible to Tylosin.
Routesof administration and dosages
Route of administration
2.5-5.0 ml of product per 100 kg body weight
Once daily for 3-5 days
0.5 ml of product per 10 kg body weight
Meat: 7 days (cattle) and 5 days (swine) after the last treatment. Milk for human consumption is allowed in 4 days after the last treatment. Meat and milk received before this time should be disposed or fed to non-productive animals, depending on conclusion of veterinarian.
24 months. After ﬁrst opening – 14 days at +5 to +25° С.
