100 ml of preparation contains active substance Enrofloxacin – 10.0 g; Additional ingredients.

Pharmacologicalproperties

Enrofloxacin is a chemotherapeutic preparation belonging to the group of fluoroquinolones (derivative quinolone-carboxylic acid). Enrofloxacin shows antimicrobial activity by inhibiting enzyme activity of DNA gyrase, which is a major catalyst for replication of DNA in bacterial cell. Inhibiti of DNA gyrase activity leads to functional disorders, blocking biosynthesis in cell and destruction of pathogen. The result is a rapid bactericidal effect, particularly against microorganisms resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics, tetracyclines, aminoglycosides and macrolides.

Enrofloxacin is effective against different types of microorganisms: Mycoplasmaspp.,E.coli,Salmonellaspp.,Campylobacterspp.,Haemophilusspp.,Pasteurellaspp.,Bordetellaspp.,Klebsiellaspp.,Streptococcus spp.,Enterococcus spp.,Erysipelothrixrhusiopathiae, Proteusspp.,Vibrioparahaemolyticus,Staphylococcusaureus.

Administration

Treatment of swine, calves (up to 3 months of age) with mycoplasmosis, wound and secondary infections, as well as respiratory, digestive and urinary tract diseases and skin damages, caused by microorganisms susceptible to Enrofloxacin.

Treatment of domestic poultry (broilers, breeding chickens, replacements and turkeys) with colibacillosis, mycoplasmosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, staphylococcal and streptococcal infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to Enrofloxacin.

Duration of treatment – 3-5 days, in cases of salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and mixed infecti – 5-10 days. During treatment, birds should only receive water containing medicament. Every day it’s necessary to prepare fresh solution of the preparation.

Withdrawalperiod

Meat of animals in 12 days and poultry in 11 days after the last treatment. Meat received before this time should be disposed or fed to non-productive animals, depending on conclusion of veterinarian.

Self life

24 months. After first opening – 14 days if kept in dark place at +5 to +25° С.

Store in dry, dark places, out of the reach of children, at +5 to +25° С.
