100 ml of the drug contain active substance:
Enrofloxacin – 10.0 g.
Excipients: Benzyl alcohol, butylhydroxytoluene, butyl hydroxyanisole, propylene glycol dicaprylate /dicaprat.
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones, it inhibits DNA synthesis in cells of microorganisms. The drug has a high bactericidal effect against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacteriaceae spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Brucella spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp. etc.), as well as against Mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma spp.) and Chlamydia spp.
Treatment of cattle and pigs in case of respiratory diseases and digestive tract infections, caused by pathogens, susceptible to Enrofloxacin.
Route of administration and dosage
Drug is administered subcutaneously to cattle and intramuscularly to pigs at a dose of 7.5 ml of the product per 100 kg of body weight (7.5 mg Enrofloxacin per kg body weight) once. Into the one injection site may be administered no more than 15 ml for cattle, and 5 ml for pigs.
Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Do not use for non-target animals.
Do not administer concurrently with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics of the macrolide group, tetracycline and chloramphenicol.
Do not administer the product to pregnant sows as well as to animals with signs of diseases of the central nervous system.
Do not administer to animals with violations of development of cartilage and bone tissue.
Meat: in 14 days (cattle) and 10 days (pigs) after the last treatment. Milk for human consumption: in 3 days after the last treatment. Meat and milk received before this time should be disposed or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.
Vials of dark glass closed with a rubber stopper and aluminium cap of 100.0 ml.
Store in a dark place, out of the reach of children at 5° to 25°С. Do not freeze!
24 months. After the first vial opening – 28 days if kept in dry dark place at 5° to 25°С.
