The BIOTESTLAB company is an official partner of the XVIII International Dairy Congress — one of the key expert platforms in Ukraine for professional dialogue between milk producers and processors, dairy farm managers, veterinary specialists, technologists and companies offering solutions for the development of the dairy sector.
- Date: June 11–12, 2026
- Location: Uman, Gonty St., 3
Current challenges of the industry
The theme of the 2026 congress is “Ukraine as a reserve for the global dairy market”. The focus of the event is on the challenges facing dairy farming today: rising costs, resource shortages, European integration requirements, and the need to increase production efficiency while maintaining herd productivity in turbulent conditions.
The Congress will serve as a platform for discussing practical approaches, technological solutions, and management strategies to help dairy farms adapt to new conditions, enhance competitiveness, and ensure sustainable production.
The discussion will take place within the sections:
- Ukrainian Dairy Industry: Challenges and Strategies
- Milk Production Management and Technology
Several round tables will also be held during the Congress, in particular those dedicated to international partnerships and the energy independence of dairy farms. In addition, the winners of the annual “Dairy Records of Ukraine” competition will be announced during the event.
Participation of BIOTESTLAB
BIOTESTLAB will serve as a co-organiser of the Veterinary Forum, to be held on June 11 as part of the Congress. This partnership reflects the company’s strategic role in the development of modern veterinary medicine and in supporting dairy farms in disease prevention, biosecurity, herd health, and effective veterinary care.
As a biopharmaceutical company, BIOTESTLAB combines scientific expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and a practical understanding of the needs of livestock farms. The company develops solutions that help dairy producers reduce risks, maintain animal productivity, and implement a systemic approach to herd health management.
We invite you to a presentation by Natalia Pinchuk, Head of the Immunobiologicals Development Department at BIOTESTLAB, on autogenous vaccines as a tool for individualised disease prevention on livestock farms.
The report will examine the role of autogenous vaccines in systemic veterinary care, their importance in controlling infectious diseases at the level of a specific farm, and the potential of this approach to improve biosecurity, maintain herd health, and enhance the economic sustainability of dairy production.
Presentation of a new product — KETOBALANCE
Within the framework of the Congress, BIOTESTLAB will present a new drug, KETOBALANCE. This is a dietary feed for dairy cows and sheep, designed to maintain animals' energy balance during periods of increased metabolic load.
KETOBALANCE is a relevant solution for dairy farms during critical periods of the production cycle, particularly at the end of the dry period and in the first weeks after calving, when cows' energy needs increase significantly. The use of the product is intended to maintain metabolic balance, normalise lactation, and stabilise milk quality indicators.
During the congress, BIOTESTLAB specialists will be ready to discuss with participants practical approaches to preventing metabolic, respiratory, reproductive, and neonatal diseases; controlling mastitis; ensuring biosecurity; and rationally using veterinary drugs in industrial dairy farming.
